Boys Finish 8th in 2A State, Gilbreath-Glaub Wins 3200

The boys capped off a great season and seniors a great 4 years with the 2nd highest point total in school history at the IHSA State 2A Championships. This team performance was highlighted by a fabulous win in the 3200 by Adam Gilbreath-Glaub who worked his way up the leaders to take the race in the final stretch. His time of 9:20 was a huge PR for Adam. Also scoring for the birds was the 4x400 relay which finished 4th. Those runners were Ethan Poston, Xavier Gutierrez (prelims), Jacob Gray, Jackson Doty (finals) and Ethan Hodel. Poston also scored with a 6th place finish in the High Jump. Austin Kasap PR'd for a 6th place finish in the Shot Put. Rounding out the scoring was the 4x800 which finished 8th. That team was Eric Payne, Ryan Meyer, Hunter Roedell and Jacob Gray. Also making finals on Saturday was Mitchell McKelvey who finished 11th as a sophomore in the Pole Vault.
