Poston Awarded with Team MVP

Ethan Poston has been named the boys track team MVP for the 2018 season. An outstanding high jumper who was not defeated all season until the state meet proved his versatility this season by excelling in many events. A standout on the 4x200 and 4x400 relays, Ethan also competed at a very high level in the Long Jump and Triple Jump as well. A 3 event state qualifier and all-state athlete in the High Jump and 4x400 Ethan led the team in letter points as well. "Ethan is a great example of an all-around track athlete and what we want our athletes to aspire to in our program" said Coach S. Danner. While Ethan will be hard to replace next year we are exited to see what he accomplishes at the next level at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.
